Yellow Canary, LLC was founded by Sheria Felix as a living tribute to her beloved grandmother, Mrs. Mary, whose compassion, generosity, and unwavering love for others shaped Sheria's life. Mrs. Mary had a special love for yellow canary birds, which represented hope, joy, and new beginnings. Those same values became the inspiration behind the name Yellow Canary, LLC.

Growing up, Sheria witnessed her grandmother open her heart and home to those in need. Whether it was feeding members of the community, providing shelter to those without a place to stay, or simply offering words of encouragement, Mrs. Mary believed that everyone deserved kindness, dignity, and another opportunity to succeed. These lessons became the foundation upon which Yellow Canary, LLC was built.

At Yellow Canary, LLC, we believe that everyone deserves a second chance and a fresh start. Our Independent Living Home provides a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where individuals can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
